Golden Sheaf Authentic Old Style Bourbon Whiskey was one of the largest produced spirits during the late 1800's and early 1900's. This highly sought after-after Bourbon could be found in most drinking establishments from NYC to San Francisco. Golden Sheaf was first produced on a 16-acre Distillery along the Missouri River in the Omaha Nebraska Territory in 1866. A Gold Medal was awarded at the Trans-Mississippi and International Exposition held in Omaha in 1898. At the peak of production, the distillery produced more than 7,000 gallons of spirits a day and was responsible for more than 90% of the state's tax revenue until the onset of Prohibition in 1920.
Today, Golden Sheaf is a symbol and proud tradition of Omaha's contribution to the evolution and development of our great nation. It represents freedom and democracy as well as pride in tradition and sophistication. Now, after a 100-year absence, we here at Patriarch Distillers are proud to revitalize this once iconic brand. Golden Sheaf is once again alive and well. Please join us in a celebratory toast to Omaha, America and Freedom!
